  • What can I expect from a Roar'n Soccer session?
Weekly sessions vary in time depending on the age of your child, it's extremely important all children stay engaged. Each group will focus on fundamental concepts including passing, dribbling, and shooting. Fun drills and activities are played to reinforce the concepts taught.
  • What equipment is needed to participate?
All participants should bring a soccer ball and water bottle. Size 3 soccer ball ages 8 and under. Size 4 soccer ball ages 8 to 12. Children should wear comfortable attire. Shin guards and cleats aren't required but recommended.
  • What is your weather / cancellation policy?
We play in various conditions such as rain, cold, heat, and wet weather, so please plan accordingly: dress for the weather, use sunscreen, and stay hydrated. We do not play in active thunderstorms. Cancellation notices will be posted on our Facebook page and sent via email in case of a session being canceled. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to check our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/RoarnSoccer/ for cancellation updates. Decisions about cancellations will be made around 5 PM for evening sessions, with Facebook announcements posted around this time. Emails will also be sent, but we cannot guarantee their delivery. To avoid technical issues, please add roarnsoccer@gmail.com to your email safe senders list. If no cancellation notice is posted, coaches will be on-site, and the session will occur as scheduled. For outdoor sessions, if the weather deteriorates significantly, coaches will decide on-site whether to cancel. We recommend checking our Facebook page and your email before heading to Roar'n Soccer. Missing a session that is not canceled is considered an absence, and no make-up session will be offered.
  • What is your policy regarding make-up sessions?
Roar'n Soccer cannot provide make-up sessions for individual players who miss a session. However, we guarantee two make-up sessions per season for cancellations affecting the entire group. The designated make-up dates are specifically for whole-session cancellations and cannot be used for individual absences. If a session is canceled and we need to use a reserved make-up date, we will notify you via email. Please keep these dates available in case they are needed!
  • What is your refund policy?
Roar'n Soccer does not offer refunds. No compensation will be given for missing a make-up session or for not attending a non-canceled session. Credits will not be issued after the final session date. Again, Refunds are not available. If you believe your situation warrants an exception, please contact us for consideration. If a policy exception is made, refunds will require a $50 refund processing fee. NO REFUNDS FOR REFUSAL TO PARTICIPATE.
  • Regarding Parent/Guardian involvement, what expectations does Roar'n Soccer have?
Our goal is to create a safe environment where your child can enjoy soccer in a positive and non-competitive manner. Parental involvement is key to helping children feel comfortable in a new setting with new people. We welcome and encourage your participation to help your child engage with us and to maintain a respectful environment for the coach and other Roar'n Soccer participants and families. The first few sessions of any season can be an adjustment period, so please keep this in mind and encourage your child to participate, even if it means holding their hand or through it. For our Cub Group (Ages 2-3) parent/ guardian participation is required for all activities. This typically takes the form of a mommy / daddy-and-me class. We ask that only one parent / guardian actively participate. For our Yellow Group (Ages 3-5) parent/ guardian participation is not required. We encourage independence and to only step in when necessary.
